Amanda and Kyle Reninger founded Sea Salt & Cinnamon, a fully vegan food company, in 2014. Amanda classically trained in piano and opera saw a need for vegan and gluten free products within her community. She then perfected a vegan chocolate cupcake recipe that her friends and family fell in love with and begin selling her product at local farmers markets. Amanda began developing additional items to appease customers’ requests for vegan friendly baked goods. Amanda and Kyle added a savory food line in 2017, hired their first employee in 2018 and moved into their brick-and-mortar location in downtown Muncie in 2021. Sea Salt and Cinnamon offers wholesale and retail products, weddings, catered events and still sells their products at two farmers markets each season. Sea Salt and Cinnamon works tirelessly each day to be a trusted vegan food company and an authority on what they do.
