Honeysuckle Hill Bee-stro is a small, family owned restaurant located in rural Clay County next to the family’s home in west-central Indiana. All of their down home comfort style food is made from scratch just the way Grandma used to make. They hand peel our potatoes for mashed potatoes and cut in the shortening and roll out the dough for pies. Being beekeepers and producing honey, many of our menu items are kissed with a bit of honey while others, like the Honey Beehive Cake in the picture shown to the left are drenched in honey.
Our menu changes weekly, so we encourage you to sign up for our weekly menu e-mails at our website. Favorite menu items include Pan Fried Chicken, Dad’s Favorite Beef, Chicken Pot Pie, Mee & Ewe Broccoli Cheese Soup, Joyce’s Mashed Potatoes, Pork Chops in Gravy, Peanut Butter Pie, Pecan Pie, Marcella’s Strawberry Pie, and Company’s Coming Honey Oat Bread with Honey Cinnamon Butter. Guests can order ahead for take out and order whole bakery items to go. They use fresh local ingredients when possible and utilize many Indiana Grown Products in our dishes.
Guests can also shop the merchandise area with many unique items made locally. Make plans to come to Honeysuckle Hill Bee-stro and while you’re at it, make a day of it in Clay County.
