Harvesting Memories for Three Generations

Beasley’s Orchard began in 1946 when Milton and Irene Beasley purchased the original 80 acre farm. They raised livestock (hogs, cattle and chickens) and grain. The family included three children: Shirley, Sharon and John, who also enjoyed gardening and tending a small apple orchard.

One year, an over abundant garden prompted sales out of young John’s little red wagon, which was set up next to the nearest road, US 36. Over the years, the family business evolved from this first sale of tomatoes!

Beasley’s Orchard is now a 165 acre farm producing a wide variety of crops and is a popular year-round agritourism destination for community members and visitors from all over the midwest.

The Barn Market is a produce market offering a wide variety of homegrown produce including strawberries, sweet corn, cucumbers, zucchini, squash, apples, pumpkins, and more. The Barn Market also offers locally sourced produce, homemade apple cider, homemade baked goods, and more goodies.

Agritourism activities include:

  • U-Pick Strawberries
  • U-Pick Raspberries
  • Sunflower Festival
  • U-Pick Apples
  • U-Pick Pumpkins
  • Fall Festivals
  • And more!
