Local Food Demo Saturday October 8th

3 Rivers Co-Op is Fort Wayne, Indiana’s oldest Co-Op recently celebrated 40 years of business. Most well known for their abundant produce department and deli they carry an array of products for a healthy lifestyle. This Saturday they will be holding a local food demo featuring local producers and their crops.

The 3 Rivers Co-Op is our exclusive retail location where we offer items from Kale and Kohlrabi, right down to microgreens and shoots.

This weekend Get Fresh Farms will be teaming up with The Co-Op to demo samples of our produce. Items featured will be Basil, Kale, and Nasturtium. We will have delicious offerings prepared by Co-Op staff. Basil Nasturtium Pesto, Kale Salad, and Bok Choy Stir Fry.

No purchase is necessary and all are welcome.

While sampling some of our products you will have the opportunity to speak with our staff about how we produce our food. From the fish that create our fertilizer to the crops that make it to your dinner table. An opportunity like this doesn’t come around too often so don’t miss your chance to meet your farmers.

The event runs from 10am and 6pm on Saturday October 8th
