Steuben County Farm Bureau Inc. Farmers Share Breakfast

Mar 29, 2019 | Events, News

The Farmers Share Breakfast is a annual event that has been at the Farmers Market for six years. This year it is taking place Saturday, June 1 from 7:00am – 10:00am at 317 S. Wayne St. Angola.

Steuben County Farm Bureau Inc. put this breakfast on at there home office for 25 years before it was moved to the farmers market. The move was to allow the event to be transparent and include all of the community.

This is a 50 cent breakfast, which includes pancakes, sausage, orange juice, milk and coffee.

The 50 cents represents the amount the farmer received for the food items you will be eating that morning. The rest of the cost at the grocery store is added for shipping, handling, packaging, and transportation.

The Farmers Market and Farm Bureau partner to bring the community awareness to anyone that comes and eats breakfast that morning.

This is a very popular event and many people plan to attend every year. In the past, we’ve even hosted such guests as Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch and Representative Denny Zent!

We encourage anyone to attend and check out our Steuben County Farmers Market and Steuben County Farm Bureau Inc. Farmers Share Breakfast.

Hope to see you there!
