Red Hill Fiber Mill alpacas

Red Hill Fiber Mill

What started as a hobby two years ago has quickly grown into a full-scale alpaca farm and fiber processing mill. Red Hill Fiber Mill makes alpaca yarns, socks, scarves, shawls and blankets. Each product is made using Indiana-grown fiber from their animals and other Indiana farms. View the online shop but gift-givers be warned, you’ll be tempted to keep these works of art for yourself.

Visit the farm

On April 9th, Red Hill Fiber Mill will be hosting Spring Fling on the Farm, featuring local artisans, live music, a raffle, food truck and more. If you can’t make it that day, don’t worry – you can also schedule a visit to spend a day with the alpacas. Learn about the animals, alpaca fiber, tour the mill and shop in person at the farm store.

Follow this farm’s journey on Facebook and Instagram.

About Indiana Grown
The Indiana Grown initiative aims to not only form a clearer designation of which products truly come from Indiana, but to also help Hoosier consumers easily identify and buy these products. We truly believe everyone has a chance to share in the success of the initiative; whether it’s a large or small operation, high-tech or low-tech, traditional or non-traditional.
