Outta this world Meatloaf w/ Bonz
Who says you have to have the grill going to appreciate a great BBQ sauce. We put this incredible meatloaf recipe together to give you another option during winter months. This recipe promises to be a real rib sticker. Add a side of mashed potatoes and green beans and you will be off to the races with this delicious meal. This recipe is totally tweak-able. You can substitute meat, spices, onion and green pepper if you wish. Whatever you do, enjoy it and share it with your friends. Peace.
Preheat oven 350 degrees.
Ingredients:
2 pounds of ground beef
2 cupfuls of crushed cornflakes
2 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 cupful of Bonz Barb BQ Sauce
1 teaspoonful of salt
¼ teaspoonful of pepper
chopped onion to taste
chopped green pepper to taste
1 cupful of boiling water
4 strips of bacon
Directions:
Take ground beef and add the crushed cornflakes, and add the beaten egg. Add BONZ BARB BQ Sauce and the seasonings. Mix well and form a loaf. Place loaf in roasting pan; pour boiling water over the meatloaf. Spread additional BONZ BARB BQ Sauce over the top of the loaf. Top with bacon strips. Place loaf in preheated oven at 350 degrees for about an hour.
